Fur & Feather Auctions at Highgate

Our auctions have become extremely popular and are being run regularly every week on a Saturday monring from 11am. Hopefully early in the year we are hopefull that we can get items listed in the next auction to be detailed online so that you can view through some of the items at your leisure in your own home. We are also looking at the possibility for you to be able to download the catalogue so that when you do arrive at the auction you know in advance what items are going to be coming up - this will be very usefull if you are watching something in particular. We will also be looking at registered sellers / buyers being able to add items via the website so that your items can begin drawing attention prior to the sale. All this is in process and can only be acheived with your help.

Animal Health & Safety

We have a large amount of cages that have been specifically built for our auctions that will keep your animals safe during viewing periods before the start of the auction. All cages contain fresh drinking water that are monitors and refilled if required and are also made of strong wire with dividers to keep the animals safe and distanced from the next pen section. Animals that are timmid can be penned away from the main viewing area in order to eliminate as much distress as possible. These pens are shown below.

The atmosphere is very relaxed and people are free to come and browse all lots as soon as they arrive. We have a fully licenced bar and can also offer you a wide range of hot & cold snacks and drinks via our indoor cafe area. During the summer months we can also offer you outside catering facilities. There are toilet facilities and a large car parking area for you to park your van, as ever the earlier you arrive the better parking you will get - doors open as least 1hr before the auction starts.

If you have never been to an auction
before and are interested to know what kind of items can be sold or how much they are indeed sold for - below are a few examples of items that were sold at our first acution. As ever with auctions the final sale price will differ depending on the amount of people interested in a particular item.
